Nearly 6 months after the solar panels were installed, and well past the useful selling point of summer, PG&E finally showed up today to install the bi-directional meter I should have had in August.

And by showed up, I mean were on my doorstep when I went to leave for work. Appointment? Naw... they just show up. Makes me wonder just how many months they've been doing this, and never finding me home during working hours.

But it's all over. The new meter is there, and next summer I'll actually have credits on my account during the summer months.

So we need some help at work. My boss still hasn't put the job requirements together, so I got nothing to post. But the short version is: if they can finish a project with little oversight, we'll hire them. We can teach them everything they need to know. Taking care is more important that working fast.

The less obvious part of the job is that it can be a very physical job. You can work from home, but major portions of the job are physically escorting customers, physically wiring cables, physically labelling things, and physically building cages, cabinets, etc. Our facilities are in Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.

That said, the more geek they have the more jobs we can give them.

It could also be a good opportunity for someone who wants to grow their geek.
