Someone tried to break into my house by destroying my front door. Alarm company called the police, who got there quickly and nothing was stolen. I had to sit around all evening finding a way to board up my door.
A $1000 deductible on my home insurance means that I can no longer afford to race motorcycles for a month or more.
After finally getting the door boarded up, I tried to go out and relax with friends. This became a much bigger deal than I was capable of dealing with at the time. I burnt out, and became a burden. And then had one of the most miserable conversations in my life.
This is all too much.
