As opposed to the secret clean-room environment when I joined Skype, this time the project is open and public:

My job is to build tools to manage the gear and provide the users with a portal to configure it.
I'm glad to return to back-end work on production systems. I no longer have the right mindset for customer-facing, on-demand IT work.
