Apparently I've been doing really, really good at the Head Down, Not Looking Up At Anyone Else's Drama thing because I got informed tonight about all sorts of drama which has flowed around me that I was completely unaware of.

I do not at all consider this a bad thing. Drama which I can avoid is all to the better.

However, tonight some drama regarding me (which I had been heretofore completely unaware of) spilled over to disturb a lot more people than just me, and I find that really annoying.

4 years since we've spoken two words to each other and there is still drama here? Really?

I mean, I totally understood when someone thought that drama was unavoidable at the recent Baycon (although AFAIK we did avoid it as I had thought) over fairly recent events, but 4-year-old drama?

I dunno, some people apparently have nothing more important to do with their lives.

  • 21:17 Do all LA area drivers hold one phone to their head to talk, a different phone in hand to text, and smoke a cigarette while driving? #
  • 01:48 OMG some people have got way too much drama. I'm fairly boggled that people even bother with this. #
  • 09:57 Further contemplation suggests that I shouldn't be surprised. For some, drama isn't a fetish - it's a lifestyle. #

I finished up the rewrite of Door of No Names that I've been planning to do tonight. Tomorrow morning it goes in front of a review group to see how it is received. Depending on the feedback I'll either shelve it for good or start putting it out for sale.

I sent it out to a few friends who've requested first reads. If you're interested in seeing this final version and you don't have a copy in your e-mail then reply here and I'll send it to you.
